How using vertical meetings can stimulate behaviour changes

Regular meeting rooms cannot enforce the change of behaviour that companies want, Peter Brady of Collaborative Design told the WORKTECH Sydney 2017 conference

Peter Brady, founder and director of Collaborative Design, is an advocate for the benefits of standing meetings and fluid meeting spaces.

In this interview with WORKTECH Academy, Brady discusses the use of vertical boards to enable employees to move around and conduct spontaneous stand-up meetings, thus encouraging more communication and collaboration. Brady emphasises that such innovation hubs are not stationary areas designed solely for projects – they are are a catalyst to encourage and incubate new behaviours in meetings. He describes how Westpac worked with Collaborative Design to rethink its meeting in its new  Barangaroo office in Sydney.
